Final Conference

We are pleased to inform you that on September 21, 2020, an international conference in the online formula was held under the title: “Multilingualism in the 21st century – promoting the linguistic and cultural heritage of Europe among multicultural families“, devoted to modern tools and technologies supporting the needs of multilingual families in the field of learning languages and supporting them in European societies. The event due to the restrictions related to Covid-19 was conducted online via the Microsoft Teams application.
This event was the highlight of 3 years of cooperation within the project: Erasmus + Multilingual Families Clubs – Promoting Linguistic & Cultural Treasure of Europe carried out between partners from Poland, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Italy, Turkey and Switzerland.
During the conference, the partnership presented all the intellectual results developed within the project, as well as a panel discussion on good practices and challenges faced by multilingual families in a multicultural society, as well as our guests presented interesting lectures on the phenomenon of multilingualism in the world and multifaceted coping skills oneself in the situation of raising children who use more than one language.
The conference was conducted in English, which allowed the participation of many international guests. On behalf of the Social Academy of Sciences – the project coordinator, we would like to thank everyone for participating in the conference, and in particular the entire consortium for fruitful cooperation.
